in all honesty, would you prefer to take home edible bomboniere from a wedding?
personally , I would .
that’s what I plan on using for my wedding next year .
I’d much rather have something to eat than something useless like a single coaster or a personalized photo frame which wouldn’t serve any real purpose unless you had a picture of the married couple in it .
as for the bottle of wine someone suggested further up , that seems like a good idea but unless you’re buying cheap wine it would cost a sh.t load , especially to have that personalized . again , thats something that will just sit in someones house gathering dust & it’s just going to get thrown out eventually , so YES , why not have something edible . make it fun , who cares if someone eats it , that’s why you gave them chocolates or candies .
and while speaking in all honesty , I don’t know anyone who keeps momentos from other peoples weddings in their “special” cupboards or displays . that’s what pictures are for .
it doesn’t matter if people forget what it was after a while , cause people aren’t going to forget your wedding & thats the most important thing .
